Datahyena tracks three company events, funding rounds, acquisitions, and executive moves, resolved onto a canonical company and investor graph. This page states what is in the API today so you can judge fit before you build.

Every number is queryable, so you can verify coverage against your own segment with a single request.
Freshness and history
- Fresh within hours. New events typically appear within hours of being announced, not in a monthly batch.
- Coverage from January 2026 forward. Datahyena is built to catch what is happening now. It is not a deep historical archive, and it does not resell one. If you need decades of backfilled history, a database like Crunchbase or PitchBook is a better fit; if you need fresh, structured, deduplicated events piped into your product, this is.
Why the data is trustworthy
- Deduplicated. The same round reported across a dozen outlets collapses to one canonical event, not twelve rows.
- Entity-resolved. Every signal resolves to a stable
companyIdand, where applicable, canonical investors, so the same company is the same record across funding, acquisitions, and executive moves. - Sourced. Each record carries the list of sources that reported it, each with a URL, so you can verify where every fact came from.
